A project aimed at developing ecological restoration solutions in the Port of Copenhagen, as part of WWF Denmark’s partnership with the port operator, By&Havn. Since 2021, 200 Biohut habitats have been installed, along with three pilot vegetated rafts and a sheet-pile quay area equipped with prototypes designed to provide the largest possible colonization surface for marine species.

As part of a five-year renewable partnership between the Port of Copenhagen and WWF Denmark, we have carried out various ecological restoration projects, including the installation of Biohut, vegetated rafts, and sheet pile modules, as well as public awareness campaigns.
