Ecocean has conducted feasibility studies and field trials in more than 15 countries. Five territories currently use PCC technology transferred by Ecocean;
- one in Hawaii,
- three in the Indian Ocean (Madagascar, Reunion Island & Mauritius)
- one in the Caribbean (Yucatan).
Cooperatives and joint venture partnerships have been created in the Pacific (French Polynesia, New-Caledonia) to use PCC for similar applications.
Authorities in other countries, including the Philippines, France and Mauritius, are presently evaluating this new technology.
